As I mentioned I will be uploading some “previously viewed” stuff on occasion. This is one of the attempts at humorous greeting cards that I tried a few years back. Like many of my other ideas I never did pursue it.
Note: Ideas are only good if you pursue them. You must have ambition and drive to be a success in any venture.  I am severely lacking in ambition…my drive has pretty much turned into an uphill coast that might roll to a stop at any moment. My advice to any of you that are still young and have your health is to go for it. Work at your art or your craft and develope the talent that you already have.
Mildred is a favorite to some of my fans and I do plan to run some Mildred and Edna comics again. I would really like to compile some of my stuff into an e-book. Maybe several. I could do one for Edna and Mildred, one for Kurt and Burt and one for I’ve been thinkin’. I probably won’t but I would like to.
Don’t forget my blog at

I will probably have an update Tuesday.

I hope it was a vintage whine.

Anything with Mildred is definitely aged.

Hahaha,,,
I’d take Mildred seriously, too
(a bump on the head from an airborne frowny face coffee mug probably wouldn’t do much to help with recovery time)!

Yep..that don’t sound like the best medicine.

I see mugs and T-shirts in your future.

I am thinkin’ about T-shirts. 🙂

You should do it–I would if I could draw. 🙂

I didn’t start drawin’ until I was 58 years old. If I can do it you can do it. Just practice. Get you some art books. You can download some free from the internet.

I like Mildred. She’s a good character to use for pure entertaining “crotchety-ness”. 🙂

Thanks George. She is one of my favorites.

I am a better patient than I am a caregiver.

When I’m sick I just want to be left alone. Put food, drink and meds where I can reach them and let me get well in peace.

There’s a line of cards (Mildred?) with a similar attitude. Yours would probably sell if you could market them.

I know who you mean but I don’t think her name is Mildred. Now I won’t be able to sleep until I think of her name.

Maxine is her name!

Oh yeah!
Now I wonder who has the Mildred line…
Oh yeah!

That would be me I think. 🙂

I really like that card BO. Mildred is such an inspiration to the sick

She can inspire you to be sick alright.

Does she have any cheese with that?
Great posting under it, Bo…and great advice too. I’m no spring chicken, but I’ll do my best to keep up my drive and ambition as you say. Hugs xo

Spring Chickens are over rated anyway. It’s the plump old hens and Roosters that make the best dumplin’s.
