I have been makin’ benches out of some of the cedar on my place and my grandson wanted me to make him one for Christmas to go in his clubhouse. I told him I would make it if he would help me. We had a great mornin’ makin’ this bench together. I hope the memory will mean more to him than the bench. Here are some pictures. Oh yeah, my wife told me I should dress up a little for the picture so I wore my new hat.

I’m sure your grandson was thrilled with this (and had a great time working with you, Bo)! Looks like a fine bench to me!

People say there are certain benchmarks that define your life. I figured if his life was going to be defined he needed a bench to mark.
