Southern Chivalry

When someone ask me why I don’t deer hunt anymore I just tell them that I’m not mad a them anymore.  I am gettin’ soft in my old age I guess.

Well they do say “Women & children 1st”
Oh that’s a sinking ship. I guess it applies to deer hunting as well…

A doe used to be safe but not anymore. We have si many deer that they are legal game now.

I think that’s the same excuse Bambi’s father was selling to the other Buck’s and Doe’s after Bambi’s mom bit the big one in the clearing. The other Buck’s agreed whole heartedly from the get go that he was indeed showing great chivalry and it was just a fluke thing for there to be a hunter there, and from that day forward the nice lush grass in the clearings was always open for the Doe’s first. Such thoughtful creatures those deer are. 🙂

Hahaha – he’s got a good point – at least six of them, from the looks of it. 🙂
