That word is on the list of words we don’t use in the studio! Along with Can’t, Don’t, or Won’t.

  3. MJ Says:

Now you’ve done it I used one of those words twice. Ha,ha,ha!

“incompetence” carries such a negative charge when in reality it means you can’t yet do a thing or do it well. We learn by doing and we improve simply by doing things over and over again. The body has a built-in self-correcting optimizer. It always moves toward an economy of motion. And this happens more quickly in some people than in others. The problem comes when people are too impatient with themselves or others and don’t allow enough time for a person to become “competent”.

    • Bo Lumpkin Says:

Wow. That was our pep talk of the day. When it comes to economy of motion sometimes I am so economic that people hold a mirror under my nose to see if I am still breathing. As far as patience goes… I want patience and I want it now!

Mildred has such a black & white view of the world doesn’t she. Glad I’m not married to her…
The new brighter colour schemes look good too

    • Bo Lumpkin Says:

There is not much gray area for Mildred is there? I can tell though… I think you are warming up to her natural charms. I have been working with some new and improved Mildred poses that I plan to use later. Maybe changing here look a little will help her disposition but I doubt it.

  7. SpilledInkGuy Says:

Hahaha – looks like Mildred is in a pretty cheerful mood. Maybe she gets kinda’ sentimental around this time of year. Or … not … ever … really. 🙂

  8. Binky Says:

And if you don’t know you can’t do it, you might end up doing it in spite of yourself and/or your incompetence.
