Gatorhead Bottoms – Swamp Gas

I have been workin’ on this one for a while.  I did the inking in Manga Studio EX4 and then I used MyPaint to do the coloring.  I realize that I have a long way to go but I do think it is an improvement over some of my earlier attempts.  I have several stories I would like to do with Darrell the Fairy Tale Dwarf and I am still undecided whether I want to bring back Rodney Raccoon or leave him as a Sasquatch.  I could leave Rodney as a Sasquatch and bring in Rodney’s pal from earlier Creature’s of Habit comics.

Decisions are hard for me.  Tomorrow is Groundhog day and I haven’t even planned for a celebration.  I guess I’ll just have to wing it.  I was hoping to get a lot done this weekend but I’m not feelin’ great this mornin’ and I have company comin’ next week so I will  post whenever I have the chance.  Hopefull I will feel like gettin’ a lot done today.

Don’t Need Help

I think Mildred actually has a point this time.  If you have trouble gettin’ depressed on your own you can just watch the Evening News or a political commercial.  I am not goin’ to watch any of the presidential debates.  The outlook is bleak enough already and most folks have already made up their mind.  I was just sittin’ at my desk and this comic came into my head and I decided to post it immediately.

Since I now have an internet connection at home I will probably be doin’ a lot more spontaneous postin.  It’s extra….it’s easy…and it’s free.   Those are some of my three favorite conditions.

Bald Faced Fairy Tale 1

Darrell is a Fairy Tale Dwarf who wound up in Gatorhead Bottoms.  He’s been around for a long time and he was an eye witness to a lot of things we have heard about.  He was an ear witness to a lot more of them.  He will be setting the record straight on lots of things that we have always heard that were not exactly as they were told.  I hope you enjoy the ride.
